I was able to work with some talented photographers on Monday. Ty and Shannon Fischer from Springfield, Ohio. They are relatively new to photography, about 3 years is all they have been shooting professionally. You could never tell it by looking at their images, they are so creative! Ty has this unique ability to see subjects through a wide angle lens in a very creative way that adds to the portrait. His wife watches the details, works with the subject and get’s the light where it needs to be. Look how awesome this shot turned out. This is one of my favorite shots from the day of our model Stephanie. She did a great job and was a real “sport” putting up with all the technical talk between shots. The end results were worth it and I couldn’t be happier.
This may look like a pretty easy shot to execute, but it isn’t. 1:00 in the afternoon in bright sunlight with no clouds anywhere, just doesn’t happen. But, this was the purpose of my visit to see if we could overcome that much light. We did! The Elinchrom Quadra with the small Beauty Dish provided the lighting we needed.
